Looking for a Vibe Kanban alternative?
Bloop announced on April 10, 2026 that it was shutting down and that Vibe Kanban would continue as a community-maintained open-source project. The remote features (hosted issues, comments, projects and organisations) were removed; the local app still runs with npx vibe-kanban.
Vibe Kanban did two jobs: it ran agents in parallel workspaces, and it gave you a board of what they were working on. Taskhold covers the second job only.

Keep Vibe Kanban if
You relied on it to launch agents in isolated worktrees and review their diffs. Taskhold doesn't do that. Keep running the local app, or look at another agent runner.
Use Taskhold if
What you miss is the shared board: a place where you queue work, agents pick it up through MCP, and you can see what's in progress, blocked or done from any device without your laptop running a server. You keep launching agents however you already do; each one connects to the same list.
Moving tasks over
There's no importer. With few tasks, add them in the web app. With many, ask an agent connected to both to read them and create each one with taskhold_create.
