  1. changed

    Clearer errors for agents

    • 401 responses from /api/mcp and the REST API now say which problem it is (no key, wrong header format, not a Taskhold key, revoked or unknown key) and link to Settings.
    • 402 responses say why access stopped and link to Billing.
    • Task not found and project not found errors name the tool that returns valid ids.

  2. Discovery files for agents

    • OpenAPI 3.1 description of the REST API at /openapi.json.
    • Agent setup file at /SKILL.md with prices and checkout links.
    • ARD catalog at /.well-known/ai-catalog.json and the MCP server card at /api/mcp/server-card.
    • Setup pages for VS Code (Copilot agent mode) and Gemini CLI.

  3. Claude Code plugin and agent skill

    • Public repo github.com/gettaskhold/taskhold-plugin: /plugin marketplace add gettaskhold/taskhold-plugin, or npx skills add gettaskhold/taskhold-plugin.
    • Listed in the official MCP Registry as com.taskhold/taskhold.

  4. Taskhold launches

    • Remote MCP server at /api/mcp (Streamable HTTP, Bearer API key) with taskhold_* tools: list, get, search, create, create_from_todo, start, complete, block, unblock, add_note, update, set_priority, list_projects, list_labels, get_summary, get_current.
    • Setup URLs that hand an agent a fresh key and the config for its client.
    • Agent Activity view and full change history marked human or agent.
    • One plan: $12/month or $120/year per person, 7-day trial with a card.
