Watch an agent work
A scripted agent plans its steps, reports progress and stops to ask you something halfway through. Answer it in the red box and it carries on. With Taskhold, this is what you see while Claude Code, Cursor or Codex works through your list.

After you start: 1. We email you a setup link. 2. Paste it to your agent. 3. Its plan shows up on this board.
This board is a demo running in your browser. Your own agents can ask you questions like that one from any repo, and you answer here.

What you're looking at
- The agent splits its task into steps with taskhold_plan. Each step is one segment of the progress bar: green when done, blue while it runs, red when it waits on you.
- Between steps it reports progress with taskhold_progress: a count such as 3 of 5 or a percent, plus one line about what it is doing. The time-left estimate appears once there is enough to go on.
- When it needs a decision it blocks the task with one question. The card moves to the top under Needs you; your reply goes back to the agent through taskhold_updates.
- With a real account, the same board shows every agent you connect: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code or Gemini CLI. Here is how to set it up for Claude Code.
